Prospects for the European Football Championship 2004
It is always dangerous to rule out the Germans, they some how find a way to win even when
they haven't
got a good football team. As recently as the last World Cup, Germany
over-achieved and made it through to the final.
Well I am going to fly in the face of previous European form and dismiss the Germans.
My reasoning is they do not have a world class striker, most of their players
play in the bundesliga and those clubs have not shone in Europe. I rest
my case for dismissing the threat of German football in Euro 2004.
Previous qualifications: 1972 (Won), 1976, 1980 (Won), 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996 (Won), 2000
